Fun Facts!

Cindy was a performance poet for 7 years before she began standup and was an OKC team member for the 2002 National Poetry Slam in Minneapolis.

She attended Oklahoma City University with a major in Theater and Music Theater.

In 2004 Cindy moved to Chicago to study with the Second City where she was the first student to write both music and lyrics to a song in the graduate show.

Cindy is an avid supporter of the Buffalo Bills and Delilah's on 2771 N. Lincoln, Chicago, IL.

While in Oklahoma City, she and Holly Moorad were in a jazz duo named The Crowd Pleasers.

Cindy knows more about vacuum cleaners than anyone else you know.

In 1999 Cindy traveled with the Oklahoma Ambassadors of Music to Europe where she played clarinet with the band and sang soprano in the choir.

Cindy spent her first winter in Chicago living with 3 boys in a 2 bedroom apartment with no heat.

During her life, Cindy has lived in Casper, WY, Fairview, OK, Norman, OK, Oklahoma City, OK, Chicago, IL and Los Angeles, CA.

After quitting a job at the Renaissance Hotel, Cindy bought a plane ticket to England and applied for a new passport in the same day. 

Cindy traveled solo in Europe for a month with only a backpack and moxy.

Cindy can quote the entire movie The Great Muppet Caper and Sense & Sensibility.

When she was a little girl, she wanted to "write and illustrate children's books".

In the past, she has taken private classes in piano, dancing, art, voice, gymnastics, clarinet, but never kazoo and that's what she plays best.

Cindy loves to cook and will make you dinner, you need only to ask.

Her favorite body part: "MY FEET!"
